SEVENTEEN Locations in Korea: Jeju's Secret Forest, Hanbando Views, and the Big Venues

The EatHub SEVENTEEN collection is the smallest of the K-pop collections — 14 places — but it's also the most efficient. There's a Jeju cluster you can do in a single morning, two quiet inland viewpoints from a Korea Tourism Organization course, and the full set of venues where the tours actually happened. Nothing on the list is filler.

Jeju: the best half-day in the collection

Four of the 14 are on Jeju, and three of them are within a short drive of each other in Gujwa, on the island's northeast side.

Andol Oreum Secret Forest (Songdang-ri, Gujwa) is the standout — a cypress-lined path and open grassland used for the forest and meadow scenes in Seungkwan's Bravo Cone commercial. It has become one of Jeju's most-photographed private gardens, which means the advice in the data is worth following exactly: go right at opening, 9:00–10:30am. By late morning every frame has someone else's tripod in it.

Byeolbangjin (Hado-ri, Gujwa) is a Joseon-era coastal fortress wall, also from the Bravo Cone shoot — the scene where Seungkwan climbs the wall with band members who share his family name. It's free, it's rarely crowded, and the sea view from the wall is the reason to go. Morning, 9–11am.

Myeonsu-dong Village Hall (Myeonsu-gil, Gujwa) is where the ad's mini-concert was filmed. It's a village community center, not an attraction — visit the outside, be quiet, and move on.

On the other side of the island, Hyeopjae Beach in Hallim appeared in the Love Letter music video, with the members shot against the water. It's one of Jeju's best beaches regardless: white sand, turquoise shallows, Biyangdo island offshore. Go 8–10am or an hour before sunset.

A workable Jeju day: Andol Oreum at opening → Byeolbangjin → lunch in Gujwa or Sehwa → drive west → Hyeopjae for sunset. Eat black pork or seafood at either end; Gujwa has good local haemul restaurants and the west coast has the abalone and hweh places.

HYBE Yongsan

HYBE's Yongsan headquarters (Hangang-daero 42) houses Pledis Entertainment, SEVENTEEN's agency. Same rules as always: exterior viewing only, weekday 10am–4pm, don't cluster at the entrances. Yongsan Station is right there, and Itaewon and Samgakji are close for a real meal afterward.

The inland course: Okcheon and Daecheongho

The Korea Tourism Organization built a small course around SEVENTEEN variety filming in the Chungcheong region, and it's the quiet corner of this list:

• Dunjubong Observatory in Okcheon, Chungbuk — the viewpoint over a bend in the Geum River that forms a shape resembling the Korean peninsula in reverse. Morning, 9–11am, before haze sets in. It's a short but steep walk up.
• Daecheongho Oback-ri-gil, Section 4 (Hoban Nangman-gil) in Dong-gu, Daejeon — a lakeside walking trail on the same course. Early morning or before sunset.

These two pair naturally into one day from Daejeon, and Daejeon means you can end at Sungsimdang for the bakery pilgrimage.

The venues

SEVENTEEN plays big rooms, and most of this collection is exactly that:

• Gocheok Sky Dome, Guro — where BE THE SUN opened in Seoul.
• KSPO DOME, Songpa — the 2023 SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND fan meeting.
• Seoul World Cup Stadium, Mapo — the 2024 FOLLOW AGAIN TO SEOUL concerts.
• Goyang Stadium, Gyeonggi — RIGHT HERE WORLD TOUR IN GOYANG, 2024.
• Incheon Asiad Main Stadium — FOLLOW AGAIN TO INCHEON in 2024, and the 2026 NEW_ ENCORE and CARAT LAND dates.
• Some Sevit (Sebitseom), Seocho — the floating islands on the Han, host to the 2023 SEVENTEEN STREET event and the 2025 10th-anniversary B-DAY PARTY. Go just after sunset; the buildings light up over the water.
• Jamsugyo Bridge, Seocho — the BURST Stage of the 2025 anniversary party. Best during the car-free bridge events, or before sunset.

Stadiums are worth visiting on non-event weekdays if you want to see them at all. Some Sevit and Jamsugyo are different — they're pleasant places to be regardless, and they're a five-minute walk from each other on the Banpo stretch of the river. Combine them with a Han River picnic and you have a proper evening.

Planning notes

• Jeju needs a car. The Gujwa cluster is not reachable on a reasonable bus schedule.
• Myeonsu-dong is a residential village. Please treat it that way.
• Andol Oreum charges admission and limits how the space is used — check the current policy before you plan a shoot around it.
• Weekday mornings, again, for almost everything here.
