Jamsil, in Seoul's Songpa district, is where the city goes big. Lotte World Tower rises 555 meters — the tallest building in Korea — with an observation deck near the top, and at its base sprawls a giant mall, an aquarium, a concert hall, and Lotte World, one of the world's largest indoor theme parks. Next door, Seokchon Lake wraps the whole complex in a walking path that turns pink with cherry blossoms every spring.
